Google is dropping four apps from Mobile Application Distribution Agreement list, according to the latest buzz in the market. The search giant is giving the Android smartphone manufacturers more flexibility by making this decision.

Google is dropping four apps from Mobile Application Distribution Agreement list and the four apps that are being dropped are: Google+, Google Play Games, Google Newsstand and Google Play Books. The change was indicated earlier this week; when Android Central noticed that Google+ was not pre-installed on two different models of Galaxy Note 5.

Google Is Dropping Four Apps From Mobile Application Distribution Agreement List, who will be benefitted?

This decision of the search engine giant will benefit to Android users because now they have more choice in what is being installed on their smartphones and tabs. These pre-installed Google apps were not used by users much and took up storage capacity, which cannot be removed.

Will Google+ end soon?

Google+ was launched in 2011 to compete with Facebook, but people were not attracted to this social network as the company was expecting. Earlier this year, Google has decided to remove the forced linking of Google+ and YouTube along with its other services. Now, the social network of Google is dropped in the must install apps of Android phones. It is certainly pointing that the company has accepted that Google Plus has failed.

Google is dropping four apps from Mobile Application Distribution Agreement list, but it does not mean that all these apps are expired; these apps can still be downloaded from the Google Play Store manually. For smartphone manufacturers, these relaxed rules open up the opportunity to add their own apps and services in the forthcoming Android phones.

Please share your views regarding this decision of Google in the comments section. I personally believe that these apps were not used much by users. What about you?
