Earlier this year, it was revealed that Nokia is planning to re-enter smartphone business by 2016 and was looking for a partner to manufacture it. A bunch of leaked images of Nokia C1 Android Smartphone has confirmed that the Finnish company has started to work on an Android-powered device.
There have been many floating rumors around the web regarding Nokia’s forthcoming Android phone. The first place where pictures portraying the phone were leaked was Weibo, a Chinese social community. According to the leaked images, Nokia C1 Android Smartphone has a similar design to that of Xiaomi Mi 4i handset.
Specs of Nokia C1 Android Smartphone:
According to the leaks, the upcoming Android smartphone by the Finnish company will include a 5-inch HD (720p) display, a rear camera of 8-megapixel with autofocus, LED flash and a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. According to previous reports, Nokia C1 is said to be powered by an Intel chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. If we go with the leaks, C1 will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The upcoming Android Phone seems to be a sleek device with better screen-to-body size ratio and would deliver an improved Android experience than the present Nokia X and Nokia XL smartphones. You can also see on-screen navigation buttons running on Android in the leaked images.
Microsoft acquired Nokia’s devices and services division and according to the deal, the Finnish company can’t use its brand name on smartphones until Q4 2016.
