Review of AT&T’s Update of the Galaxy S5 Android 5.0

AT&T recently made available the Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 update which is much later after Verizon and others. This proved to be a very good move as the problems with update versions from other carriers were no longer experienced.

Samsung still retained a similar look aside from visual changes of the new Android 5.0 Lollipop. Small design changes of many major apps will be noticed, and also on some stock apps added with updated features.

The update’s overall installation process is smooth, but in some cases, some S5 users needed to delete some media files and apps. This is to free up some space to accommodate the update.

After installation of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, the Galaxy S5’s battery life remains good, and when it comes to the LTE, Wi-Fi, & Bluetooth, after the update, the connection of AT&T’s LTE connection was still solid, as well as the device’s Wi-Fi connectivity.

So far, no major bugs or issues are being reported after users updated their devices, may it be about connectivity or general issues. The Galaxy S5’s overall speed remains fast and smooth, making the AT&T update essential.

In fact, most or all AT&T users that use Galaxy S5 units didn’t encounter any problems during the whole update process, and some even noticed improvements when it comes to overall performance.
