According to a new report released by John Paczkowski of Buzzfeed, September 9 may be the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 release date and Apple may possibly also unveil new models of iPad and revamped Apple TV. Last year also Apple released the current generation iPhone on the same date.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 release date and specs:

The 2015 event will focus on the next generation of iPhones, which will come to market with improved camera, more powerful battery, a more powerful A9 processor and the latest iPhone will reportedly have the Force Touch display.

The Force Touch technology recognizes how hard the user is pressing and allows different actions to be carried out accordingly. For instance, while pressing the fast-forward button in a video player, users can vary the speed at which it skips by pressing harder or lighter.

The same sources also revealed that Apple is expected to announce the new iPads, and probably launch the successor to Apple TV. It is expected that Apple may unleash its latest iPad, rumored to be called iPad Pro, which will feature a 12.9-inch display. The iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 release date must have been announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), but apparently the company decided to postpone the launch for the quarter before last event.

According to blogger John Gruber, the next version of the iPhone will see the “biggest camera jump ever,” and will offer picture quality that will be in comparison to a DSLR. He also reported that the new iPhone would include a “weird two-lens system where the back camera uses two lenses and it somehow takes it up into DSLR quality imagery.”

Based on various leaks and rumors, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will reportedly feature the same 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays respectively as last year’s models, but will feature 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM. So, most probably September 9 may be iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 release date.
