New Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Tablets are Thinner than the iPad

Today Samsung announced its new device Galaxy Tab 2 on the flagship of last year’s Galaxy Tab S tablets. We have seen thinnest smartphone by samsung till date released last week and today the korean giant revealed its thinnest tablet devices so far. It looks like Samsung is closely looking at the design of the tablets and so challenged Apple’s sleekest iPad Air which is 6.1mm with the new Galaxy Tab 2 which is 5.6mm. This Flagship 2016 model has 2 new screen sizes – 9.7 inch and 8 inch – weigh around 389g and 265g respectively. We can say it one of the best portable devices because of thinnes and weight.

As far as Specification says, the new Galaxy Tab S2 is better and improved version of Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 and is boast with Samsung’s Exynos 5433 SoC sporting 4 cortex A57 cores (peak frequesncy 1.9GHz) plus Cortex A53 cores (peak frequency of 1.3GHz). With 3 GB RAM Samsung made this device so flexible in features that one can choose between 32 GB or 64 GB internal memory with an microSD slot expandable up to 128 GB. In terms of media this hardcore tablet supports a rear camera of eight megapixel and front camera of 2.1 megapixel. Its obvious not to compare camera of this device with smartphones. You may be disappointed to know that this tablet doesn’t support UHD video recording, but allows video recording at 2560×1440 (4 times 720p) with 30fps. All we can say, the camera for this tablet is not bad in tablet section. Samsung made a strong move from 16:10 aspect ratio to 4:3. Number of its previous devices were of 16:10 which were good for watching videos and nothing else. Manufacturing companies then reported that its uncomfortable for users to use this device for other purpose and so need to move to 4:3 aspect ratio. The release date is still not confirmed but expected to be launched in August. The Color choices will be limited to black and white.
