Two New Fossil Q Android Wear Smartwatches To Be Launched This Year

A few months ago, traditional watch maker, Fossil launched its first smartwatch – The Q Founder. The design of the first Android wear by the company was underwhelming. But the luxury watchmaker listened to the feedback provided by the users and is planning to release two new Fossil Q Android Wear smartwatches along with activity trackers and smart analog watches.

The luxury watch brand is working really hard to deliver its tall-order promise of launching 100 connected devices by the end of 2016. The company will launch wearables across brands like Tory Burch, Skagen, Misfit, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Emporio Armani, Diesel and Chaps.

Two New Fossil Q Android Wear Smartwatches – Q Marshal & Q Wander

Fossil has worked hard on the design of their new Android ear smartwatches. The Q Marshal features a 46mm case that has a rugged look with a navy blue finish. The Wander features a 44mm case and has a more feminine design, with a gold finish and softer lines.

Both Q Wander and Q Marshal will have features similar to the Q Founder. They both are also powered by Google’s Android Wear OS. It’ll let iPhone and Android owners to take phone calls, get alerts, respond to messages and even access apps like Tinder directly from the touchscreen of the watch.

Both the new watches will come with a wireless charger that’s slimmer than the Q Founder’s charger. The base cost of Fossil Q Wander and Q Marshal is $275. They both will be available later this year.

The fashionable analog watch by Fossil looks like a traditional watch, but it acts like a smartwatch. If you’ve a look at it, you can never suspect that it’ll pair with an app and monitor your daily activity. The Smart Analog watches can connect to your Android devices and iPhones via Bluetooth.

The smartwatch will let you see automatic time zone updates, calories burned, sleep within a small section of the analog dial. You’ll be alerted with flashing LEDs and a gentle buzz when you receive a call, text or email.

You’ll be happy to know that it comes with interchangeable premium leather straps so that you can match it with your outfits. The price of the analog smartwatches has not been disclosed by the luxury watchmaker.

To keep its promise of launching 100 new smart devices, Fossil unleashed the Q Motion. It’s a basic activity tracker that also offers some basic call/text notifications and a tap-based control system. The new fashionable Q Motion will hit stores soon and will cost you around $95.

Final Words

By unleashing 7 new wearables, including two new Fossil Android smartwatches, the American luxury watchmaker is looking determined to stay on top of the wearable market. It looks like the company doesn’t want any of its products to be seen as outdated.
