Moto G 3 specs leaked before official launch; phone may be water resistant with IPX7 certification
In the past few days there have been many leaks and rumors of the new Moto G 3 and yet another leak came from a Swiss retailer Digitec. They have revealed a couple of key updates to the smartphone, including some hardware updates that were not previously revealed.

According to various leaks and rumors Motorola has updated the display and some internal specs of Moto G. It is expected that the new Moto G 3 will have 5-inch 1080p display. The new phone may be powered by the 64-bit, Quad-core Snapdragon 610 which clocks in at 1.7GHz. Moto G 2015 will feature a 13MP rear camera and the front facing camera of 5MP. The device may also come with a large 2470mAh battery.
RAM may also be doubled from a 1GB to 2GB, but internal storage will likely be same at 8GB or 16GB. However, the new Moto G 3 will have a built-in microSD card slot that can accommodate an additional 128GB. There are many rumors that the phone will be water resistant with IPX7 certification that means the phone can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. But the phone will not be dust resistant.
It is expected that Motorola will launch the new Moto G 3 on July 28th. Motorola will also launch a third generation of Moto X and the second generation of Moto 360 smartwatch along with Moto G 3.
