Microsoft: To Unveil It Next Flagship Two-In-One Device
It is already expected that Microsoft will officially unveil its next flagship device. The best thing about this forthcoming flagship is that it is a two-in-one device tentatively called the Surface Pro 4.
According to reports, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to be introduced between the months of June 2015 and October 2015. It is to coincide with the release of Windows 10, which is also controversial considering the fact that Microsoft skipped the Windows 9 version.
There are rumors spreading that Microsoft will release two variants of Surface Pro 4 – the 12-inch variant and the 14-inch variant. Both variants of the upcoming flagship are said to feature 2160 x 1440 resolution, 16GB RAM and 1TB (maximum) internal storage. It is also said that the tech giant will use either Skylake chips or Broadwell chips instead of the Haswell processors of Intel.
The decision of Microsoft to replace Haswell processors might have a big impact on the decision of those who are Intel investors. It is a good thing that Microsoft will shift to Skylake chips or Broadwell chips as these are the two smallest yet most power-efficient computer chips available in the market today. These are also products of Intel. Therefore, those who prefer Intel processors do not have to worry as they can still enjoy the benefits of using Intel.
