Earlier, the Chinese version of the Z1 was an instant hit! But, in China the Z1 was launched with the company’s own ZIUI skin running atop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The company wrote on its Google+ page:
“Cyanogen is excited to be the OS for ZUK’s Z1 international version! The Chinese version of the Z1 became an instant success with more than 2 million pre-orders in one week. Be on the lookout for the Z1 in mid-October!”
Recently, Cyanogen claimed that it has more than 50 million users worldwide, which is more than the combined mobile users of Windows and BlackBerry. This is quite an accomplishment!

The flagship phone is featuring a 5.5-inch 1080P Full HD display, a massive 4100mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device has a 13 megapixels SONY IMX214 rear camera and a front facing camera of 8 megapixels. There are two color options available for the handset: Space Gray or White.
