It has been speculated that Samsung would soon unleash a new flagship handset called the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, an upgraded version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. The external dimension of the upcoming device is said to be 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85 mm and is likely to sport a 5.5 inch display. The S6 Edge Plus will also feature the curved edges that are seen in the current Edge model.
Samsung’s S6 Edge Plus is reported to be powered by the hexacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU and run on Android 5.1.1. According to a report by Forbes “Returning to an external supplier for this key component will drive up the build cost of the S6 Edge Plus, but it’s worth noting that the S6 family was the first time Samsung had supplied handsets with the Exynos system outside of its home territory in any significant volume.”

Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will have 3 GB of RAM and could have storage options of 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. It will feature a 16 megapixel rear camera shooter and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. The purported device will reportedly have a standard MicroUSB port instead of a larger USB Type-C port.
According to GSM Arena, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will come with wireless charging, OneDrive (115 GB cloud storage) and S-Voice natural language commands and dictation. The S Voice feature will reportedly recognize voice commands of users and instantly launch the apps.
