Google Slides update will let you share your presentations via Hangouts and Google Keep update will let you export Notes to Docs
Earlier this year, search giant updated Google Slides and users were able to cast presentations to any screen with AirPlay or Chromecast. Now, the Google Slides update will let you share your presentations via Hangouts and Google Keep update will let you export Notes to Docs for Android phones and tabs users.
Google Keep update
The Google Keep update will let you export your Notes to Google Docs by simply selecting the note that you want to export and then you need to tap the overflow menu, and select “Copy to Docs.” That’s it! Now you have got your selected note in Google Docs.
What Google Slides update will let you do?
Google Slides update lets you conduct presentations from your Android phone or tab. To use this feature you need to tap the present button and then you will see an option will come “present to a Google Hangout video call.” Then the app will automatically display your scheduled meetings on your calendar.
A quick view will also be given to you to see who is on the call before starting the presentation. You can also advance slides, keep track of time with the app’s built-in timer and even see your speaker notes during your presentation.
This feature is currently available only for Android phones and tabs. Unlike with AirPlay and Chromecast support, Google Slides for iOS cannot stream to a Google Hangout. But in future we may expect that it will be available for iOS users also.
According to the search giant, the new functionality let your partners, teammates and clients see your ideas, even if they are on the other side of the planet. Both the Google Keep update and Google Slides update are rolling out today on Play Store.
