Google Chromecast adds streaming support for HBO Now and some other Apps
Today, we have some good news for HBO and Chromecast fans, as Google Chromecast adds streaming support for HBO Now. The new update will be rolled out for HBO Now on Android and iOS.
HBO Now users will now be able to stream HBO content from their smartphone app to their big screen TV’s, if they have Chromecast hooked up to it. Apple’s AirPlay already supported HBO Now, and now Chromecast adds streaming support for HBO Now.
HBO Now is an online streaming service, which was launched earlier this year as an exclusive on Apple products, but after that it was launched on Android devices and Amazon Fire. It provides access to live streaming of the channel along with all video on demand content on HBO at just $15 per month. And the best thing about it is there are no upfront charges and no contracts. You can cancel it at any time, if you want.

Chromecast adds streaming support for HBO Now and along with this update HBO Now users will also get push notifications so that they can get notifications if any new content is published and much more. The updates will also fix many usual bugs and will enhance the performance.
The updated apps for HBO Now are live and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the App Store. So enjoy watching some of your favorite HBO shows like True Detective, Silicon Valley and more.
Chromecast adds streaming support for HBO Now and along with that it has also added support for Food Network, Travel Channel, Pokemon TV and interactive games from publishers like BreakFirst and MediaMonks. An HBO representative said the company is looking to expand the service on various platforms as soon as possible.
