The E4.5 Ubuntu edition will go on sale on the 9th of February and will be the first ever Ubuntu phone in the world. Here are some of it’s features:
- 4.5 inch QHD display.
- MediaTek 1.3GHz Quad Core Cortex A7 processor.
- 1GB of RAM
- 5-megapixel front camera
- 8-megapixel rear camera
Now the specs may be similar to the Samsung prime but this little gadget is going to change things around – BIG TIME. The idea of “scopes” will assimilate content and services with an easy to use interface and many experts are deeming this new interface as a “game changer” No more will users have to scroll through a screen of icons, the scope will combine all services and apps around you, you can get reviews of local coffee shops as well as weather predictions without the hassle of opening up 10 different apps on your phone.
This will definitely save battery life, many apps just keep running in the background and suck the life out of your phone’s battery (you should be doing that) This simply means – no more separate webpages or apps to view different kinds of information.
This heavy weight is priced at $194 (£127) and is due to launch today, anyone would be lucky to get their hands on one. Also, you can get bundle deals from many networks from major service providers. This phone was long awaited for and everyone is excited to see what this new interface is all about.
