There are a number of modern remakes of classic games and with the increased availability of fully-featured game engines to the general public, it is not at all surprising. Now, Fan Made Resident Evil 2: Reborn is soon going to be released this year and will be available for free.
What’s new in Fan Made Resident Evil 2: Reborn?
The developers of the Invader Games have been working hard to develop the Resident Evil 2: Reborn, which is a remake of the 1998 survival-horror game Resident evil 2. The remake is being developed from the scratch in the Unreal Engine 4 and will soon be available for you to play.
The developers have added a lot of new features and changes to the Resident Evil 2: Reborn. These changes and features include enhanced visual effects, improved 3D models, a new lighting system, a new health system, changed scripts, improved textures, new sound effects and much more.
Capcom, the original developers of Resident Evil have released a number of the Resident Evil game every couple of years and have also released various remakes including Resident Evil HD Remaster, Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero. But they never released a remake of Resident Evil 2, which was a great hit.
So far, Capcom has not said anything about the Fan Made Resident Evil 2: Reborn , maybe they don’t know about the project. The Italy based Invader Games said that it is a not for profit project, and the game can be downloaded for free when it is ready.
The exact date for the release of Fan Made Resident Evil 2: Reborn has not been revealed by the Italian developers, but if anyone wants to further updates regarding the game they can check it out on the developer’s site.
