DJI Unleashes The First Crash-Proof Consumer Drone With Drone Guidance System

Consumer Drone

Over the last few years the drones accessible to the normal consumers have improved very rapidly. Till now the drones, which were available to us were blind to their surroundings and would often crash. But now the company behind the famous consumer drones- DJI has a solution for this problem.

DJI– The World leader in Drones unleashes their first drone guidance system. It is a combination of stereo cameras, ultrasonic sensors and a central processor, which allows the drones to sense objects up to 20 meters away and avoid it in real time even at high speeds. We can fly the drone steadily even without access to GPS.

This new technology of drone guidance system by DJI in future can be used to create drones that could move about cities and towns to capture news footage, deliver packages and lot more.

To be more specific DJI has a solution to this problem with its latest Matrice 100. It’s a $3200 developer friendly drone that can be modified according to the specific tasks across different industries. But it lacks some great features of DJI’s famous UAVs like the Phantom series.

Controlling the drone flight can be optimized by developing new software applications using the DJI SDK which was announced last year. Once full charged the battery of Matrice 100 allows 40 minutes of flight time due to its light weight.

In an effort to mine the rapidly growing drone enthusiast community for ideas Matrice 100 is the perfect launch by DJI. New Matrice 100 with its hardware flexibility seems to be a perfect option for the drone community.

The Guidance SDK by DJI allows developers to tap directly into the new anti collision system and help them build the software’s that makes drones safer for flight. Letting the drone enthusiast community participating in building better software is a smart move by DJI to build sophisticated and safer drones.
