Comcast: Is It Already Time to Change for the Better?
Comcast, a cable company, is known to be the worst and the most unwanted company in the United States. This is why it is not a surprise to hear that nobody likes the company. However, it seems like the firm is planning to get better as it just recently announced that it is creating a total of 5,500 customer service jobs. It said that the jobs that will be offered are part of the company’s multi-year customer experience transformation. This plan seems like a move to make people tolerate or even just like the company.
While Comcast willingly lost government-level battles, it actually sounds like the firm is now waging a battlefield starting from maintenance, which is known to be among the company’s most irksome problems.
According to Comcast, it is already setting a target to be always on time when it comes to customer appointments by the third quarter of 2015. It also said that it is currently investing in technicians’ training in order to make sure that the technicians will know what they are doing. They also said that they will implement a plan wherein if the technician is late, the company will immediately credit the client with $20. This scheme is already offered before and there is still no guarantee whether it will be expanded or not.
