Blac Youngsta Stopped By Police After Withdrawing $200000 From His Account
Youngsta said the large withdrawal was taken out to be used to purchase a new auto, and that he would be taking his business away from Wells Fargo.
Blac Youngsta was stopped outside of an Atlanta bank yesterday (January 8) after police suspected him of being a person who was passing bad checks.
Atlanta police say they were dispatched to the bank after a 911 caller stated that a male was trying to cash a forged check valued at $24,000.
Benson said police told them that someone had written a bogus check previously. The rapper posted a photo of himself being handcuffed outside the bank on his Facebook page. Though he initially meant to buy a Maybach, Benson said he was considering a Ferrari, 11Alive reports.
“It makes me feel like I can’t be young, black, and rich”, said Blac Youngsta.
After their investigation, police found that no crime was being committed.
Youngsta recently singed to Gotti’s Collective Music Group, formerly known as a Cocaine Musik Group, and appears on the rapper’s recent mixtape, The Return. Atlanta Police said officers were requested at the location by the bank manager. Another man, Charles Darnell Edward, was arrested and charged with felony forgery, police told TIME in a statement.
