Suddenly, it seems that the Cupertino-based Company is all too interested into gaming. Upcoming Apple TV is said to function as a gaming console for iOS games and just before its official launch, Apple new Twitter account dedicated to gaming has been unleashed.
Yesterday, Apple created a new Twitter account named @AppStoreGames whose profile reads “Embrace the future of gaming. Straight from our Games Editors.” Apple said that the Twitter feed of this account will feature more than just the normal picks for app of the week.

It will be run by App Store editors who plan to populate it with sneak previews of games, profiles of talented gamers and some tips and tricks. According to the company, editors will communicate with game developers on the feed.

Numerous reports suggest that the Cupertino-based Company is planning to finally revamp its set-top box and Apple new Twitter account dedicated to gaming has almost confirmed that. The next Apple TV is said to get a major hardware boost, which include an Apple A8 SoC, an improved remote with Siri button, motion sensors and support for Bluetooth game controllers. According to our sources, it will come in two storage variants: 8GB and 16GB, costing $149 and $199 respectively.
