Today the Taiwanese company launched Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks at the IFA conference in Berlin. Both the gaming laptops are designed particularly for gamers and come with some great features.

Specs of the laptops:

The Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks are powered by Intel’s new Skylake Core i7 processor coupled with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory on selected devices. Both of them come with high-end NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphic card and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD (solid state drive.)

The gaming laptops come with Killer DoubleShot Pro for fast Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity. They also come with a USB-C support, the next-gen connectivity technology.

What is the difference between Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks?

Apart from the price difference, there is a difference in the screen size and resolution. The Predator 15 notebook features 15.6-inch Full HD or 4K (3840×2160) Ultra HD panels, while the Predator 17 notebook comes with 17.3-inch Full HD display.

Acer latest gaming laptops come with great cooling system:

Cooling of the system is the top priority for most gamers because of their usage. Acer Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks come with a Cooler Master Fan module that can be slipped into the optical drive bay, which provides more cooling during heavy gaming sessions.

The Predators also come with Acer DustDefender, which keeps air moving around critical components of the laptop and prevents them overheating and dirt accumulation. Gamers are also given the option to adjust the airflow themselves via a “CoolBoost” app.

What is the cost of gaming notebooks?

Both of the gaming notebooks will be shipped with Windows 10 right out of the box. If you are planning to buy Acer Predator 15 gaming notebook, then you will have to pay nearly $1500 for it. If you want to buy Predator 17 then you will have to pay $1600 and both will be available in November.
