A new horror game called The Flock will go offline forever, if all players die

The Flock game

Most of the multiplayer games end up after the players are bored playing them. These games get initial hype, but eventually people lose interest in the game and when user numbers are decrease to a certain level, the game ultimately gets offline forever. However, a new horror game called The Flock is coming which will go offline forever, if all players die.

“A multiplayer game can take players to incredible heights, but at some point gamers will start to play less, get disinterested and stop playing altogether. In opposition to other multiplayer games, we want The Flock’s experience to inspire a sense of awe, to keep players eagerly anticipating what is coming next and to end with a memorable climax,” said game’s Creative Director Jeroen Van Hasselt.

Some insights into a new horror game called The Flock:

The objective of The Flock game is to keep the Artifact for the maximum period of time, and the Artifact’s light is used to fight off monsters in the horror game. The most amazing thing about “The Flock game,” which distinguishes it from other multiplayer games is an interesting twist that sets the game around a ticking clock. The Flock’s population number decreases by one after the death of each player in the game.

No new players will be able to buy the game, if the population number hits zero. Only the players who already purchased The Flock game will be able to participate in the “climactic finale”. Another interesting fact about the game is that after the “climactic finale” the game will go offline permanently and no one will be able to play the game again.

If players want to monitor The Flock’s population countdown, it will be available in the game menus, The Flock’s subreddit and on the Vogelsap’s website. Later this year, The Flock game will be released on Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux.
