Twitter Owned Periscope Is Developing An App For Apple TV
Earlier this month, Apple new Twitter account dedicated to gaming was launched. Now, according to a report by Techcrunch, the famous live-streaming app owned by twitter: Periscope is developing an app for Apple TV.
Periscope is developing an app for Apple TV, which will allow users to watch live-streaming videos on their Televisions. As of now, it has not been disclosed whether users will be able to broadcast videos from their Apple TV or not. So we can expect that these live-streaming videos will still be coming from mobile devices. So we can’t say much about the clarity of videos, which will be streamed on Apple TV.
Techcrunch report adds:
“Though we can’t confirm the exact functionality of the app, it’s likely to be focused on watching streams. Periscope made videos viewable on the web in June without the ability to broadcast, and the Apple TV app could work similarly.”
