The Pirate Bay’s mobile site domain TheMobileBay.org was very recently suspended by the authorities. The domain was suspended on 28th Jan, 2016. The mobile domain catered to the growing torrent community using mobile and tablet devices. But several of the piratebay domains have been suspended and so was this one, only to be back on an alternative address at
The mobile version was launched during mid 2014, it was a major redesign with the mobile devices in focus, instead of a compressed version stripping images and design. The mobile users are automatically redirected to the especially designed version when visiting the main site. The cause of the latest suspension still remains unknown and the administrators are yet to release an update.
